Redenta’s Garden was started in 1992 as a garden shop providing a quality shopping experience. Founder Ruth Kinler named it after her aunt who is a nun in a convent in Siena, Italy, because she wanted the shops to reflect a European influence. Ruth set out to staff the shops with fellow gardeners – people who felt passionate about plants and gardening and were equally passionate about sharing that knowledge with others.
The mission of the shops is to provide a wide and unique assortment of plants, concentrating on perennials, herbs and old roses as well as a selection of hard-to-find annuals, shrubs and trees, especially native and well-adapted plants. Redenta’s is committed to a natural and sustainable approach to gardening and is 100% organic offering soil amendments and organic solutions to common garden problems. Ruth has also searched the world for unique garden accents and gifts.

Holiday Hours: Saturday, December 9th, we will be closing early for our employees’ Christmas party. Both stores will close at 3 pm Sunday 12/24. We will be closed Monday 12/25 for Christmas, Tuesday 12/26 for Boxing Day, and re-open for business 9 amWednesday 12/27.
We like to plant. From classic to adventurous, large to small and anything in between, a well thought out planter is the perfect finishing touch. Special events, gifts or that certain spot at home all become more meaningful when the plants are arraigned for just that occasion. So belly up to Redenta’s Potting Bar where we make this happen. Each store has its own Potting Bar where we put it together right in front of you (or while you’re getting other stuff done). Contact the store you shop and we’ll fill you in with the details.
