This client wanted a garden that was separate from the house. A place to go and feel like they were in a special place. We looked at Japanese garden design and gardens that make you look inward - gravel, river rock, boulders, concrete squares, water, lawn and planting beds all needed to be put together in a simple yet elegant composition.
