This back yard started with a small aggregate patio, a lot of lawn and a few planting beds. All of the lawn was removed and the existing patio was replaced with two larger concrete patios. The rest of the yard was filled with plants and a dry creek bed. The new patios have a natural edge that integrates the creek into the concrete. A new fence of horizontal cedar boards separates the drive from the backyard.
