Lorie grew up in the Dallas / Fort Worth area before moving to New York to study art. She earned a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Hunter College in Manhattan and became interested in modern landscape design. She continued her studies at home in Texas, enrolling in the Landscape Architecture Program at the University of Texas at Arlington. She interned at The Chinati Foundation in Marfa before earning her Masters in Landscape Architecture. After school, she worked for The SWA Group landscape architects in Dallas. Ultimately, she could not resist forming an unstoppable team with Michael and joined Redenta’s Landscape Design. Lorie is a registered landscape architect.
Michael grew up in the Dallas / Fort Worth area as well before graduating from Texas A&M with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Not knowing what to do with his life, he moved to London and discovered art and design. He moved back to Texas and learned about plants while working at Redenta’s Garden Shops. The combined interests of plants and design lead him to the Landscape Architecture Program at the University of Texas at Arlington. He interned at Mesa Design Group landscape architects in Dallas before starting the design department at Redenta’s.
